Santa Monica-based contemporary artist Les Mayers is launching the MAYERS | CONTEMPORARY art museum utilizing the latest advances in virtual reality technology. Visitors from around the world will be able to visit the virtual museum on self-guided tours, view and purchase art and other items to help support The People Concern and our Studio 526 community arts program.

Mayers seeks to expand public awareness of his art while helping to mitigate important social issues, like homelessness. He believes access to the arts and cultural spaces is essential for people in all communities and is donating one of the museum’s art galleries to our Studio 526 (Skid Row) artists. 100% of the sales from the Studio 526 Gallery will benefit the program and its artists. During the museum’s opening and introductory campaign, Mayers will also donate 50% of the profits from sales of his framed or unframed wall art reproductions, home-deco and gift items, designer fashion and accessories in the museum’s store to The People Concern. We are happy to partner with Mayers to provide increased exposure to artists living in Skid Row who take advantage of The People Concern’s free studio space.
