Announcing the grand opening of Pico Square, a 78-unit permanent supportive housing facility located in Mid-City. We are proud to be the on-site service provider for Pico Square and look forward to welcoming our new neighbors into their permanent homes. This last week, our generous partners at Wells Fargo helped us prepare each unit with home essentials including cookware, dishes, bedding, cleaning supplies and toiletries. -In addition to providing the grant to purchase these furnishings, dozens of Wells Fargo volunteers led the way in setting up the units.  all provided by Wells Fargo! Governor Gavin Newsom, Secretary of Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency, Lourdes Castro Ramirez and L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti also attended our celebration where they helped us prep units the apartments and announced the next stage of funding for Project Homekey, which will include $694 million for 35 projects that will create more than 2,500 units in 19 communities throughout CA. “Homekey is more than just another tool in our toolbox in the work to end homelessness – it’s an opportunity for thousands to start anew, and an injection of pride and dignity that can keep Angelenos off the street for good. Thanks to this latest infusion of funds, hundreds of people experiencing homelessness today will be offered the stability of a permanent home, the safety of a door with a lock, and the services they need to get back on their feet,” said Mayor Garcetti.
